Clinical Observations on the Embryonic Extract: A Study by Eric Serrano, MD

This report summarizes the findings of a clinical observation study on the supplement of Oligopeptides naturally occurring NGF (Nerve Growth Factor extract),  FGFs (Fibroblast Growth Factors), 2-AG, AEA conducted by Eric Serrano, MD, a physician practicing conventional and alternative medicine in Pickerington, Ohio, in April 2022.

Study Design and Subject Response

Dr. Serrano initiated the study with initial skepticism toward the efficacy of supplements but was quickly impressed by results.

  • Subjects: The study involved 23 randomly chosen human subjects (16 men and 7 women).
  • Conditions: Subjects maintained their normal diet and exercise routines throughout the study. Morning blood samples were taken under consistent conditions (fasting, immediately after waking).
  • Subjective Findings: Approximately 70% of the subjects reported feeling subjectively “better” during the study period, while 30% reported no noticeable change.

Objective Clinical Results

Despite varying subjective reports, 100% of the subjects demonstrated improvement in their blood test markers across the board. Dr. Serrano highlighted the unique characteristic of Embryonic Extract: its ability to normalize abnormal levels without affecting levels that were already in the normal range.

Key Improvements Observed:

  1. Insulin Levels: This was the most dramatic finding. In 100% of patients who presented with elevated insulin levels, Embryonic Extract successfully reduced these levels to the normal range. One patient’s level dropped from an extreme high of 84.8 mlU/ml to 13.5 mlU/ml (normal range is 0−20 mlU/ml), achieved without any dietary changes or medication. Dr. Serrano notes this as an “absolutely incredible discovery” due to the direct link between high insulin levels and increased mortality risk.
  2. Lipid Panel: Subjects with high cholesterol (including HDL, LDL, triglycerides, and total cholesterol) saw subsequent decreases, while those with normal levels remained unchanged.
  3. Cortisol Levels: The majority of patients experienced a reduction in morning (AM) cortisol levels, with the largest reductions observed in subjects who started with the highest initial levels. Dr. Serrano reports consistent positive cortisol responses across patients of all ages and different settings with Embryonic Extract.
  4. Other Hormones: The supplement also positively affected levels of DHEAS and total and free testosterone.
  5. Sleep Quality: Additionally, 28% of the subjects who completed an associated questionnaire reported an improvement in sleep quality.

Conclusion

Dr. Serrano concludes that the consistency of the findings particularly the ability to selectively correct abnormal lab markers like insulin and cholesterol, alongside significant cortisol reduction—has made him a strong believer in the supplement. He emphasizes the potential of Embryonic Extract to lower major risk factors for heart disease and improve overall well-being.
